Terms and Conditions
1. Appointments
All appointments must be booked in advance via the online booking system or direct contact. Clients are expected to arrive on time for their appointment. Please note that treatment time begins when the therapist arrives on site, rather than the scheduled appointment time. If you arrive late, your treatment time may be reduced to avoid impacting subsequent bookings, and the full session fee will still apply.
2. Cancellations & No-Shows
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for any cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made within less than 24 hours, or failure to attend an appointment, will be charged at the full session rate. Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may result in refusal of future bookings.
3. Payments
Payment is due in full at the end of each session unless otherwise agreed in advance. Accepted payment methods include cash, card, or bank transfer. Failure to pay may result in refusal of future treatment.
4. Health & Medical Information
Clients must provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding their medical history, injuries, and any changes in health. This includes, but is not limited to, medication, surgeries, and existing conditions. Failure to disclose relevant information may affect the safety and effectiveness of treatment.
Treatment may be modified or declined if it is deemed unsafe or inappropriate based on clinical judgement.
5. Treatment Consent
All treatments are provided with informed consent. You have the right to stop or pause treatment at any time. Consent will be reviewed regularly, particularly where new symptoms or concerns arise.
6. Results Disclaimer
While every effort is made to provide effective treatment and rehabilitation advice, outcomes vary between individuals. No guarantee is made regarding specific results, recovery times, or performance improvements.
7. Home Visits
Home visits are subject to availability and location. Travel areas and associated fees are clearly stated at the time of booking. Appropriate space and environment must be provided to carry out treatment safely and effectively.
8. Professional Boundaries
All treatments are conducted in a professional manner within appropriate clinical boundaries. Inappropriate behaviour or language may result in immediate termination of the session, with full payment still required.
9. Liability
Clients are responsible for following any aftercare, exercise, or rehabilitation advice provided. Alleviate Sports Massage is not liable for any injury, discomfort, or adverse outcome resulting from failure to follow guidance or from undisclosed medical conditions.
10. Changes to Terms
Alleviate Sports Massage reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The most recent version will always be available on the website.
